Having current Nike and a Mitchell & Ness jerseys I feel I am capable of making a comparison. These Proline jerseys are inferior to the Nike jerseys in almost every way.
Don't get me wrong, it is an ok jersey (fit and feel very similar to Reebok jerseys of old) but is made of a much shinier material than either the Nike or the M&N. I also found the orange stripes on the sleeves were a totally different color than the orange on the numbers on chest/back (Bears). This jersey also fits a bit baggier than the Nike but not really in a good way. The jersey drapes down and kind of hangs out making you look larger than you are. It is also a bit, maybe an inch, shorter than the Nike.
I have contacted the NFLshop about the color issue and am returning it to buy a custom Nike.
In my opinion, it is very much worth it to stick with Nike or M&N.
Although Proline offers many more players than Nike, it is worth it to spend the extra $$ to customize a Nike jersey.

For the price, these numbers should be sewn on.
