I purchased this jacket for my wife. This jacket is made with quality materials and is thick. Not Ski jacket thick but enough to keep you warm watching the Steelers at Heinz field in late October (So my wife says). Judging from the picture, you do not get the impression that this jacket is very warm. Believe me; I was shocked when we received it. I wasn't expecting this amount of quality or thickness based on the price. My wife loves the soft feel and look of this jacket. This jacket is recommended as an option in between a sweatshirt and a heavy winter coat.
