I was extremely interested in purchasing a Rams Nike Elite Jersey after all the promotional hype by both the NFL and Nike about these new jerseys. I was surprised by both how heavy and stiff the new jerseys are to wear. I hope that by washing the jerseys over the weeks it will become less stiff. I do like the new design though, i like both the neck and shoulder treatments on the Rams Jersey, as well as the flexible tackle twill. It is a jersey i plan to wear with pride as i watch ( hopefully) many winning seasons of Saint Louis Rams football.

I was extremely interested in the New Nike Elite Jerseys from everything i have seen and heard from the promotions of these new jerseys. I was also surprised at how stiff and heavy these new jerseys are to wear. I like the new design for the Rams on both the shoulders and neck. I look forward to wearing it for many ( hopeful) winning years of Saint Louis Rams football.

I was really interested in seeing the materials of the new Nike NFL jerseys. I was shocked at the outright weight and toughness of the non-mesh areas of the Jersey. This is some serious stuff that shouldn't wear out even after decades of wear. This style of jersey is meant to be fit tight against the players equipment but the basic size of the 52 I purchased is essentially identical to a 52 Reebok which is good except the stiffness of the non-mesh material gives the fit a bit of an odd feel compared to an all mesh jersey. I suspect the stiffness will lessen with washing but it will never drape like traditional mesh. It kind of looks and feels like you're wearing armor. All in all I'm very pleased with the elite but it's not going to be for everyone. If you"re not a hard core jersey collector I'd really suggest trying one on before buying.
