I bought these as a gift for my husband. They arrived smelling like moth balls. [...] We hung them in the garage for several days and that seems to have eradicated much of the smell and I'm hoping it stays that way. They are very long; too long for my 6' husband. I undid the stitching and removed the clip at the bottom, replaced it with the spring ring only, restitched it, and his ID now hangs at a much more appropriate height.I do not know why they are sold as a four-pack (nearly [$]) since they arrived carded as two groups of two. I think many more people would be interested in ordering "one to wear and one as a spare" than ordering four. My husband gave one to his boss and the others may go to his Cleveland-based cousins at Christmas.
