I bought this at Soldier Field this summer at the fan expo. I followed the directions (which aren't very clear) and put it on my grill. when I went to put the steak on top of it, I found it melted to my grill. I pulled the deformed product off my brand new grating, and e-mailed the manufacture. This was back in April 2011 and it's now almost august 2011 and still no word from them. This sounds great, but do yourself a favor and don't buy this.
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

I heated the brand on the grill per the instructions (which are vague)and the brand, which is a flat piece of metal, bowed into a slight curve, which makes it hard to brand meat. Also, the gold paint on the outside has started peeling. This is after one use (and it didn't even work!)[...] Perhaps this one is just defective and the 2nd one will work, but I am not holding my breath.
