I consider this hat dressier than most I have. It has the feel of history and pride - almost authority - when I wear it. This hat is sturdy and showy and I recommend it to anyone who is tired of the same old flex fit sideline hats!
My hat is large, also. While I know my hat size, I measured using the method provided and the measurement was the same. Still, the hat I received is loose. Perhaps visiting sports stores to get the 'right fit' the better choice...
