I just used the jacket for a fall Tailgate with 30 degree weather and I was warm for game time. I would consider it a mid-weight jacket or a heavy hoodie with the extra lining. The jacket looks great, displays multiple logos and will get a lot of use. The only complaints I have are first, that I hate the generic gray color & would prefer it in team colors. This is just a personal preference though & may not apply to you. Second, the size runs a little short and a little snug with the extra lining that draws the hoodie inward. I normally wear an XL and just upped it to an XXL to compensate for the sizing difference & to allow for layers of clothes underneath.
