I am a Patriots fan and a Giants Fan. Born in Fitchburg Massachusetts but my Grandfather was born in New York! So I like them both! The music in the background of the film made it like a movie and a thriller! Good JOB NFL FILMS!
Purchased this as a birthday gift (to a lifelong fan, my Dad) and was terribly disappointed- not only does it just only include highlights of the most amazing Super Bowl Upset in History- but it the description says there are over 3 hours of material- there is only an hour and a half. Very very disappointed, shame on you NFL!!! I would have paid more to get the full game, plus season highlights and interviews!

DVD does not include the World Broadcast of the Super Bowl. For such an historic game, ending the Patriots quest for a perfect 19-0 record, this is unforgivable. Boo!-Hiss!

As a NY Giant fan really wanted a DVD so I could enjoy again the victory over New England. As other reviewers I was disappointed that the coverage of the Super Bowl itself was really too short. For example I would have thought the last NY drive for the game winning touchdown would have been covered completely. To be clear I really wanted a DVD with the full game but these highlights were not enough.
BOUGHT THIS FOR MY SON WHO REALLY WANTED A COPY OF THE SUPERBOWL BUT ONLY HIGHLIGHTS WERE ON THE DVD.... HE WAS VERY DISAPPOINTED.

This DVD contains a lot of material, including many highlights. Lots of sacks, TD's. The Superbowl section could be longer but overall, I am glad I bought it. Some of the best moments are covered from multiple angles (e.g., the Alford sack of Brady; Tyree's catch) and are really fun to watch again. Some of the action (Jacobs running over tacklers) is just priceless.
A few years ago, we purchased the Pittsburgh Steelers SB XL video. It had the entire season, Super Bowl itself, behind the scenes, and more... This video is a MAJOR disappoint for anyone that thought they were receiving a historical archive of a memorable season. The highlights and behind the scenes are equal to what folks can see on the NFL Network. Save your money [...]

We like the video but it is clearly not what was advertised and not what we expected. We would like the game in it's entirety not just a few reruns of a few good plays.

Contains highlights of every regular season games and the playoffs. The Superbowl recap is about 5 mins long, they show more of the NFC GB game than the SB.
This is good, but not widescreen like the description says.

This DVD does a good job with the highlights and behind the scenes footage but the biggest problem is the complete lack of the big game itself. What I don't understand is why the most watched super bowl in history up to this point, isn't even on the dvd. Highlights are nice, but the whole reason I wanted to buy this was to own a copy of the full 60-minute game which I clearly did not get. If you wanted this for the same reason as I, prepare to be disappointed. Also on my copy, the menu gets stuck on the extras screen even if you choose to return to the menu. Bad production right there

i got this yesterday watched it and may watch it a gain today this dvd is history but i do want one of just the super bowl as well that would be great
Oh my God, what a let down. All the previous Supr Bowl DVD's included the broadcast, I cannot tell you how disappointed I am. The highlights are great and the quality is top notch, But how do you not put the game on the Super Bowl DVD. I did not even TIVO the game becasue I planned on buying the DVD. This should be a [$] DVD
If you are a true NY Giants Fan this is a must have! All the behind the scenes footage and commentary really make you feel like you're on the field. All Giants fans do yourself a favor and get one.

I wantd the "Whole superbowl", not just clips I had seen online. I am very disapointed with this DVD, as it was not the "whole superbowl", but only clips and highlights. I had thought I was ordering the whole thing, and not just little bits and pieces. It's only good if you missed every game, but what Giant Fan would do that?
Yes, with a shaky start, you would not expect the Giants to make it to the Super Bowl, or even come close to winning. However, this DVD brings you throughout the exciting season to an even more exciting finish.

Highlights were stuff we already saw mostly. SBXVII highlights should have been longer. Too many plays were omitted. With that said, it's a nice supplement for a Giant fan, but get a copy of the entire game so you can feel good all over again.

Whenever the GIANTS win a Super Bowl it is awesome, agree with earlier comment having the game itself again would be great was disappointed that the Super Bowl wasn't a "game of week" option in extra content section. Seemed to show more plays of the games as 'game of week' and one of the biggest plays of the game was left out - - Steve Smith reception on 3rd and 11 during the final drive. Entire last drive could have been included in clips would have made this DVD much better. . .
Did enjoy the season review clips (especially beating the bears. . .)

SUPER BOWLS DONT COME FREQUENTLY, SUPPORT YOUR TEAM AND BUY THE HIGHLIGHT DVD, THE "HAIL MANNING," THE GREATEST PLAY IN NFL SUPERBOWL HISTORY, I'LL WATCH IT OVER AND OVER AND OVER, WHOOHOOOOOO!!!! THATS WHAT I'M TALKING ABOUT. I'M GONNA BUY ANOTHER ONE JUST TO KEEP IT IN THE PACKAGE.

Received as a gift...and although it was a nice gesture...I would have preferred just the Super Bowl game in it's entirety.
This would be a nice addition to the whole game...but not worth much on it's own.
